May 27 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pmFREE
Online quick sessions are tight, light, and live curated programs designed to keep us connected, stimulated, and excited in these challenging times.
How do we reduce gun violence?, That is a question that confronts us every day, even as we deal with another ferocious epidemic, COVID-19. Join #UNLOAD as we host conversations with artists, activists, curators, and those who have engaged with gun rights supporters to find out how we can collectively make change happen. #UNLOAD believes that we can find the consensus to change our laws by using the arts to grow the coalition of active supporters. #UNLOAD leverages the power of the arts to create transformative encounters that will plant the seeds of change and inspire this broad new coalition to act for the common good.
May 27: In this conversation with Lee Milazzo (Samuel Owen Gallery), we’ll do a studio visit to see one of the artists at work and talk about innovative ways that curators and artists can drive dialogue. 1:30-2:30
